K-Cup Coffee Review: Green Mountain's Hazelnut Dark Roast

Green Mountain absolutely hit their new Extra Bold Collection K-Cup coffee -Green_Mountain_Hazelnut_Dark_Roast_K-Cups.gif
Hazelnut Dark Roast - completely out of the ballpark!  You know a flavored coffee is going to taste extremely good when your five year old daughter says, "Dad, that smells so good!"  Literally, when I walked past my daughter she told me that and upon first taste I would agree - it's real good!

I have been a fan of hazelnut and my standard winter drink at Starbucks is a Nonfat, Hazelnut Latte so it is no surprise that I enjoy this flavored k-cup coffee.  BUT - I have tried other hazelnut K-Cups and Green Mountain's new Hazelnut Dark Roast is the best!  I think it is the addition of the Extra Bold, darker roasted coffee which enriches the hazelnut flavor yet still holds its own as a bold coffee.  Even with enough milk to change the dark roast a lite caramel color, the boldness of the coffee still remained.  It actually reminds me of the Starbuck's hazelnut latte.  Boy - now I can save $3.50 and drink a great $0.52 K-Cup instead!!!

Green Mountain describes their delicious Hazelnut Dark Roast as, "flavors of sweet, buttery toasted hazelnuts with a darker roasted coffe base."  They did a great job capturing the hazelnut flavor while still delivering a dark and bold coffee.

If you like Hazelnut - then I guarantee that you will LOVE Green Mountain's new Hazelnut Dark Roast.  It really is that good.
